jetNEXUS’ Service Provider Program (jSPP) is a low entry cost, high value, easy to administer, rental program to provide load balancing and acceleration for clients of Service Providers.
A Service Provider (xSP) is defined as any business that hosts on behalf of clients (e.g. managed hosting providers, ISP, telco) or provides software services on behalf of clients (e.g. ASP, SaaS).
jetNEXUS’ range of Accelerating Load Balancers, ALB and ALB-X, provide a cost-effective solution for clustering servers to enable resilience and scaling. The ALB and ALB-X are the next generation technology that reduces the cost of delivering and scaling web services. This is achieved by offloading processing and content from servers, reducing bandwidth costs and improving end user performance.
The focus will be on ALB/ALB-X in software formats i.e. Virtual Appliance (VA) and ISO software.

Benefits for Service Provider
Service Providers who host valuable services for their clients can differentiate themselves by:
Eligible Service Providers who enrol will be supported with training (sales and technical), marketing assistance, and technical support.
Issue and Rental of Licenses
ALB/ALB-X licenses will be issued on demand and rented on a monthly basis. Licenses are issued based on the number of client channels. These channels are the Listening (or Virtual) IP/port combinations associated with their clients’ sites.
Service Providers can install as many licenses as required in any combination of client channels. There is currently a limit of 24 channels per license.
There is no restriction on the number of installations of ALB/ALB-X licenses. Therefore, Service Providers have the flexibility to implement both a dedicated ALB/ALB-X license per customer and a shared ALB/ALB-X license for multiple customers.
In other words, the jetNEXUS Service Provider Program appeals to both Dedicated and Shared hosting models.
jetNEXUS will invoice Service Providers for all channels rented on a monthly basis, irrespective of the number of licenses issued.
Technical Support
The Service Provider will provide 1st line support to their clients. jetNEXUS will provide email or phone support to the Service Provider for 2nd line and 3rd line technical queries.
